The first Evening of Silicet, the preparatory volume of the VIIth Congress of the WAP 2010 Semblants and Sinthome, was held last January 26th at the rue Huysmans. On this occasion, the American members of the WAP Council participated: Flory Kruger (EOL), Jesus Santiago (EBP), Leonardo Gorostiza (EOL), Maria-Hortensia Cardenas (NEL), Nora Gonçalves (EBP) and Monica Torres (EOL), with the presence of Éric Laurent (President of the WAP), Francisco Hugo Freda (President of the ECF), Marie-Hélène Blancard and Luis Solano.

It is the first of four evenings devoted to the theme of the 2010 Congress. The second will be this Spring ; the third and fourth will be in the Fall and Winter 2009-2010. Papers by Maria-Hortensia Cardenas, Nora Gonçalves and Monica Torres will be published in the next issue of the Lettre Mensuelle.
